SVTS B Series
SVTS B series electric rotary joints feature connections via terminals or screws; this facilitates maintenance and uses in machines where downtime for maintenance must be minimal. Using gold- or silver-based alloys as contact materials make them a versatile product with some of the most extended service lives on the market. The primary use is for power transmission and signal transmission for temperature sensors. This family of rotary joints is also available with a blind hole.

FAQ
Using a slip ring ensures continuous 360° rotation without the risk of cable twisting or wear. In addition to improving system reliability, it ensures stable transmission of power, signals, and data, reducing machine downtime and maintenance interventions. The availability of different configurations also allows the slip ring to be adapted to numerous industrial applications, helping to improve overall machine performance and service life.
Slip rings can simultaneously transmit electrical power, analog and digital signals, fieldbus, and high-speed data, maintaining a stable connection during continuous rotation. In more advanced applications, dedicated channels for high-speed data transmission can also be integrated, with solutions designed to reduce interference and electrical noise, ensuring high signal quality even in complex operating conditions.
Faston slip rings are designed for high-duty applications requiring reliable transmission of power and sensitive signals. They are particularly suited to flowpack machines, packaging systems, rotary tables, cable and hose reels, process control systems, medical and pharmaceutical equipment, and wind turbines. The use of Faston connectors makes them especially suitable for applications requiring quick maintenance and reduced downtime.
Faston slip rings use fiber brush technology with multiple contact points, which reduces wear and electrical resistance, extending component life. Faston connectors simplify installation and replacement without soldering, a particularly useful feature when transmitting sensitive signals, such as those from thermocouples. They are also available in an IP65 version for applications subject to washdowns or the presence of water and liquids.
