Ultra-Flat Slip Rings for Precision Medical Analysis Equipment

The customer specializes in developing advanced solutions for the analysis of histological samples from cancer patients, with precise temperature regulation ensuring optimal sample quality before microscopic analysis

Requirement

The system required an exceptionally compact slip ring solution to transmit power to the heating element and temperature sensors within a confined space. The key challenge was maintaining high reliability and signal integrity while keeping the design as low-profile as possible.

Solution

Two ultra-flat, pancake-type slip ring models were developed with internal and external dimensions of:

  • ID 55 mm / OD 125 mm
  • ID 55 mm / OD 170 mm

Each unit includes four channels, two for signal and two for power transmission (up to 8A), which allows stable energy and data transfer for precise thermal regulation. The slip rings are CE and RoHS certified, and UL compliant, ensuring full conformity with international medical equipment standards.

The customer selected our solution for its proven reliability, quality, and full process traceability. The ultra-flat construction enabled seamless integration into the compact medical device, guaranteeing consistent temperature performance and long-term operational stability.
