AS and iSA Series

The AMKAMAC AS and iSA series controllers are a scalable and modular solution for motion management and PLC functions. The AS series controller is the ideal solution for panel installation and is easily placed in an electrical cabinet due to its small size. The iSA series controller, on the other hand, is a controller/PLC that can be installed directly on the machine module structure due to its IP65 degree of protection and resistance to shock and vibration. Thanks to the integrated power supply with 400 VAC power supply, it can generate the DC BUS for powering the drives connected to its network, allowing the complete elimination of the control cabinet. The AMK AMKAMAC series controllers enable complete control of a machine module through the EtherCAT real-time field BUS. Thanks to the “Cross communication” feature, it is possible to connect multiple control modules, maintaining perfect synchronism between the subgroups of servomotors. In addition, connection (SLAVE) is also possible to higher-level PLCs through Ethernet-base buses such as Profinet or Ethernet IP (GATEWAY). The programming platform used is CodeSys, integrated with AIPEX PRO and allows programming by IEC 61131-3.
