The latest generation of medical equipment for clinical analysis and treatment requires high-precision and quiet control systems and motors with ever-increasing power and dynamism in ever-smaller spaces.

Multilayer radiological collimators are equipped with a system of individually motorized blades whose position, by intercepting the radiation beam to a greater or lesser degree, allows both its intensity and shape to be controlled and determined.

This is particularly important in treating malignant tumors since it allows the right radiation intensity to target only the tumor area, perfectly delimiting its contours and thus minimizing the involvement of neighboring tissues.

Extremely small linear micromotors equipped with transducers and individually controlled ones are required to move the numerous lamellae.

We can provide linear micromotors complete with transducers, high dynamism (rapid movement of the blades to calibrate the radiation dose as precisely as possible and compensate for any patient movement), and quiet.

Our tubular motors are also routinely used on x-y collimators used on radiological equipment for mammography, skeletal, surgical, cardiovascular, dental, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and urographic examinations, etc.
