Gender Equality Policy

Towards an inclusive and sustainable workplace

Introduction

Servotecnica recognizes gender equality as a fundamental pillar for corporate well-being and for fostering a fair, inclusive, and sustainable work environment. This policy aims to promote genuine equity among all employees, removing barriers that hinder full participation in the organization’s success.

For Servotecnica, gender equality is not only a moral and constitutional duty, in line with Article 3 of the Italian Constitution, but also a strategic driver for improving productivity, innovation, and internal cohesion.

Servotecnica’s Gender Equality Policy is based on the following key principles:

  • Equality and fairness: Ensure that all employees have equal access to development opportunities and recognition, regardless of gender.
  • Inclusiveness: Foster a workplace culture that values diversity and promotes open dialogue among individuals with diverse experiences and perspectives.
  • Transparency: Adopt clear and shared practices in human resource management, salary policies, and professional development opportunities to ensure open communication and accountability.
  • Sustainability: Integrate gender equality principles within corporate strategies, contributing to the achievement of the UN 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals.

Servotecnica is committed to achieving the following goals through the implementation of specific measures:

1. Equal Opportunities in Access and Career Development

  • Favor transparent and fair recruitment processes that prevent any form of gender discrimination.
  • Promote continuous training and mentoring programs, with particular focus on enhancing skills in technical and leadership roles, regardless of gender.
  • Continuously monitor career paths to ensure that growth opportunities are equally accessible to both men and women.

2. Pay Equity

  • Conduct periodic reviews of compensation policies to identify and correct any gender-based pay gaps.
  • Define objective and transparent criteria for determining contractual levels, salaries, incentives, and career progression.

3. Work–Life Balance

  • Implement flexible working hours and remote work options to facilitate the balance between personal and professional life.
  • Encourage the use of both paternity and maternity leave, promoting a corporate culture that recognizes and supports family care responsibilities.

4. Promotion of an Inclusive Culture

  • Organize training and awareness sessions on ethics, equal opportunities, inclusivity, and women’s empowerment.
  • Strengthen internal communication channels to foster open and constructive dialogue among employees.
  • Implement an anonymous reporting system to address any cases of discrimination or harassment promptly.

5. Measurement and Monitoring

  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate progress in implementing the Gender Equality Policy in line with UNI/PdR 125 reference practice.
  • Publish an annual report detailing the initiatives undertaken and the results achieved, ensuring maximum transparency toward employees and stakeholders.

Servotecnica assigns clear responsibilities at all organizational levels to ensure the effective implementation of this policy:

  • Board of Directors: Define strategic guidelines and monitor the impact of adopted policies.
  • Gender Equality Steering Committee: Oversee the effective adoption and ongoing implementation of this Gender Equality Policy.
  • Human Resources Manager: Ensure that all company procedures comply with gender equality principles and provide active support to personnel.
  • All Employees: Contribute to maintaining a respectful and inclusive work environment by immediately reporting any discriminatory behavior.

Servotecnica’s Gender Equality Policy will be periodically reviewed to align with regulatory changes, market needs, and national and international best practices. This review will be conducted at least once a year, with the active participation of the steering committee and employees.

Servotecnica is committed to making gender equality a tangible and measurable reality within its organization. We firmly believe that an inclusive, respectful, and equitable work environment is the foundation of our collective success and individual well-being.
We invite all personnel to support the commitments outlined in this policy with enthusiasm and conviction, thereby contributing to the development of an exemplary and forward-thinking corporate culture.
