Resolver for extreme environments
Compact and lightweight Pancake Resolvers are perfect for applications with space and weight limitations. They can be self-supporting, with bearings and brushes, or frameless, with separate rotor and stator integrated into the system. The latter option is advantageous in motion control systems, eliminating misalignment and coupling errors. The large inner diameter simplifies electrical and mechanical connections, reducing weight. Highly accurate and reliable, unaffected by phase, voltage or frequency variations, they are excellent position sensors for precise angular data. They can be combined with Resolver-to-Digital converters for high-resolution digital outputs. Applications include aerospace, defense and industrial automation, where space and weight are critical.
