In many applications, the &#8220;Stepper Closed Loop&#8221; solution allows replacing systems previously operated solely with brushless motors + gearboxes. They are available either with RS485 serial communication, Modbus_RTU, IO-LINK, and CANopen or Ethernet-based (Sercos III, EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet-IP, Powerlink, Modbus_TCP, Wireless). These motors also have built-in uPLC, which, through the eight digital I\/Os, allows small programs to be created without needing a PLC.
