The flexspline can be of the \u201ccup\u201d or \u201chat\u201d form and meshes directly into the Circular Spline. Motion is generated by the Wave generator, which typically represents the input of the fast shaft, usually consisting of the motor shaft. The variety of available models characterizes Laifual harmonic gearboxes. Depending on the degree of integration, it can be supplied as individual components or fitted with a bearing and, for some models, a through shaft. Harmonic gears are characterized by compactness and a very high degree of precision.
